Evening. Bought myself a 93 trans am and within a week I'm minus a mirror! On xmas eve a tree took if off. Not sure if it's repairable or whether I need a new mirror or bracket? Is it going to be hard to do and what tools are required? Looks to me like something might have snapped off? Thanks for your help guys. Rik

crap that sucks ! it looks as if the inner structure has sheared off altogether, you could try and use an epoxy resin like Araldite to put it back together but it will never be as strong as the original one part piece.
Id opt for a replacement mirror if you can find one mate, if they are like the 3rd gen ones theres only a couple of bolts holding on from the inside of the door

Yea you don't need it really I haven't owned a car for about 4 years since selling my corvette and this happens. Still that was literally the only damage not even a scratch so could have been worse
