Do you think the wrapping people can wrap a TA? Anywhere around ipswich that could do it, and can they put custom things on it? Fancy a change, too many black and golds about :p and my paint work is looking tired.

They could do it but not seen a good wrapped car yet, corners start to rip etc. better off saving for a nice paint job :thumb:

Ive seen loads of wraps and they look amazing until 6 months down the line.

As David has said - they start to rip in the corners or sharp edges. and no matter how much the manufacturer says its UV stabilised they always seem to fade. Plus on a second gen i reckon it could harbour moisture in certain places and encourage that old trouble maker - rust.

agree with the above, but if you want to go ahead there is a firm in Colchester that do a good job
had one of their cars (5 series bmw) that had been done a couple of years back and still looked good (had to check edges to confirm it was not sprayed)

When I had my Phoenix fitted we had it done in a wrapping place in Harlow called Essex tints ,I asked them if they could wrap my car they said its one of the few cars that can't be wrapped because they have no place to join the wrap between the roof and the back wing without it being seen, plus he said the rear wing maybe impossible as it's a very complicated shape.

I would keep your car the original colour Darren you have one of the few genuine S/E cars , they are worth lots if kept original spec plus it's a 77 that's rocking horse poo ,buy yourself a red shirt and a cowboy hat d:) :thumb:

Good advice all, just fancied a change. Will get someone to mop it first and see what it comes up like, if not i could always wet and dry it and go for the flat black look 8) Got to pull the gold stripes of anyway as they are falling off all over the place.
