2nd gen wheel spats welting/rubber beading

Post by johnny46 » Wed Dec 24, 2014 5:46 pm

Hi all

Just fitting the wheel spats On the body and wondering is the rubber beading needed? Does anyone have probs if there fitting without the rubber seal? Just having trouble with fitting it think I have it the right way round if some one could send me a close up pic of one fitted correctly and where the rubber finishes that would be great

Thanks all

Johnny

I've not got the beading fitted, doesn't seem to give a problem. Some people fit without beading and then using filler, blend into the wing, sorry fender. :D

If i was you I'd try to get some good second hand ones from pontiac parts as the after market one's don't fit too well and need quite a bit of work to fit
