Any one have any ideas on how to remove this, of a card air freshener hanging from the handbrake has bonded itself to the plastic on the console near handbrake.

That is novel! But very annoying I would imagine. I would consider giving some road dirt removal or tar remover a go but test on a hidden area to make sure it's not going to damage the plastic. Let it soak in to moisten the air freshener back up. Failing that, try something alcohol based either meths or perfume etc. if that fails as well then I'd suggest taking it to one of those places which specialise in interior cleaning and repairs as they might be able to advise or do it for you.

Thanks Jimmy for putting this on for me. I owe you one
It was just one of those free card air fresheners you get when you have your car washed. I was preocuppied with my drive to Billings, I never gave the air freshener a second thought. Until I tried removing it
I'll see a specialist. I'll probably end up have to put some kind of dash-plaque over it.
