t5 stiff gearchanges when warm

works fine but once i start driving enthusiastically for a bit it can be a bit of a struggle to get gears has been like this since i bought it

box had new syncros approx 10k ago by previous owner have receipt

could this be the clutch, the pedal is quite stiff but it been like that since i owned the car

hard to shift or grating when shifting?

doubt its clutch related
is it better without engine running or the same?

all sorted

pulled the gearbox , clutch looked ok to be fair but thought sod it and ordered a new one,and the pilot bush just fell out when i pulled the gearbox as well didnt like the look of the flywheel as it was a bit scored, grooved and had been skimmed before as there was a shim behind it, clutch pivot and fork shwed signs of wear as well.


replaced the lot and i now have a nice clutch pedal and changes gear how it should have in the first place.

not exactly cheap as all those bits add up but its sorted at least
