I believe the 87+ roller cammed engines required 5w30 and the pre 87 flat tappet cammed engines needed 10w30 from the factory.
Autobox is dexron 2.
not sure on the diff.

Its also a good idea to run Valvoline racing oil for a flat tappet cam engine, or use any usual oil brand and use a ZDDP additive to keep the cam and lifters nice and lubricated with the correct minerals etc.

5w30 sounds quite thin for an old engine doesn't it? Mine is an 87 5.7 and I just use 10w 40 and stick to Castro gtx or something like that. It leaks at the valve seals anyway, so any thinner and it would be pouring out faster than I can fill it up! How do you know if it's a roller cam or a flat tappet? I know move has a carb on the top!
