help needed with engine brackets

Post by dnw3576 » Wed Jun 14, 2017 3:19 pm

hello all,

i have a 1983 firebird trans am it's the 305 crossfire injection with ac, i brought the car as a unfinished project, engine was already parcially stripped, engine bay was completely stripped, i have a haynes manual, but it is crap for giving the detail needed, i have got the engine back together and just about to get it back in the car, need help on the configuration of the ac compressor, alternator and power steering brackets, also if anyone has some detailed picks of how the engine bay goes back together, tried getting pics off net, youtube, dont know if my engine type is rare as i cant find much detail on it , seems like everyone had the carb version, with some with ac compressor on top in middle, some on left, some on right above power steering, does anybody know of a reference book for my model available to buy or download, many thanks and best wishes to you all.
