coolant temp sensor

Post by Rob81 » Sun Feb 24, 2013 7:46 pm

is there some way to bypass it as mine is chuffed with the fault reading of code14 "low coolant temp" which makes the cars brain unnecessarily adjust how it runs causing it to run rough. i have taken it out but it was clean i have replaced the wire as it was looking a bit crispy but im still getting the fault code so im guessing its retired itself

i would replace it as its £2 from rock auto but they wanted over £20 shipping which put me off on principle
