Can these be removed without using a spring compressor?

No need for spring compressors to remove the front lower control arms, the springs/shock absorbers are one unit, replaced mine last month.

Has anyone changed the front lower control arm bushes. How easy are they to remove do i need a fly press or can i get away with a vice. Any tips would be appreciated as cant afford car to be off the road more than a day.

what a bitch of a job to remove the control arm. Cant believe you need to unbolt the steering rack just to get the front bolt out.

All fixed now had to buy another new disc basically the new EBC disc was machined incorrectly on the inside face from new, basically the pad was only using half the disc ie only touching for 180° of the rotation, the outside face was ok. Nice one EBC. :cowboy5: :cowboy5:

Don't I know it, replaced my control arm, a few months ago, replaced with BMR tubular arms, nice design, putting the front bolt there, took me about an hour to do one side, two days for the other side, rear bolt just refused to come out...
