Hi,
Anyone know how to remove the parking brake assemble? I have removed the 2 nuts in the engine bay, are the bolts ment to come out? and I have removed the nut inside the car. But it still seems solid and won't move.
Any ideas?
Ta

Re: Parking Brake Removal
Here you go Darren, couple of pics of parking brake pedal
Two bolts that go through bulkhead are welded to the brake pedal assembly.
And like Kev said, front mounting is on a stud bolted to frame of car.
It's prob just stuck with factory sealant/mastic where it bolts through bulkhead.
Should come free with a bit of wiggling

Re: Parking Brake Removal
Hi Darren, just offered my parking brake pedal assembly up to Bullnose - yes, there is a bolt that goes through that top hole/slot,prob need a 9/16th inch socket to undo it or maybe a 1/2inch. My memory is getting as bad as Kev's,lol. Did remove mine three years ago though ! Paul
