Hi all,
Anyone know a good source for replacement, OEM fitment match, headers for my 91 V6 Firebird?
I am doing some work get the exhaust back to stock as close as possible before I can get the engine running properly. Currently it's bodged like crazy and may have killed the ignition!
I am getting quotes on shipping for Walker OEM fit Y-pipes:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321582501767
- mine currently has nasty custom ones full of blows!
I have bought a genuine OEM AC Delco O2 sensor - mine currently has none!!!
I've bought a Magnaflow direct fit catalytic converter - mine currently has none!
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261526725369? ... EBIDX%3AIT
My car then has what appears to be a Trans Am V8 dual output muffler, which is actually quite nice, albeit mounted with random washers to make extra clattering noise!!
The whole thing sounds terrible right now and is holding up my engine tune-up and re-commissioning.
I don't need the car louder than stock, and I am going for maximum home serviceability rather than top performance here. I figure if it's as close to stock as possible, it will be easier to bolt together and maintain...
When I get the Magnaflow cat I need to get the car up in the air and understand whether I can use the current middle pipe, or need a new one.

RockAuto.com should stock them (around £150 for both shipped) they cover all tax and duty in the price in the basket so you should get an exact cost. Hope this helps!

you could also try Autopontiac as they do exhausts - off the shelf supply and custom.
Sometimes your local power flow/longlife or similar stainless exhaust fabricators can help out with making a system sound again if its on a budget and you wish to just repair what you already have.
