Hey
Where is the best place to get hold of some tyres for my 91 Firebird please? I quite fancy some BF Goodrich or Goodyear with the white lettering
Also the wheels currently have 215/65.15 fitted. I have a feeling these may not be the correct size?
Regards
Mark

North hants tyres sell BFG white letter tyres in that size, along with a couple of other brands with white letters. The BFG's aren't cheap though!

Re: Place to buy ? Right size?
Hi there,
I'm new to this forum, recently got my 3rd Third Gen Firebird. It's a 3.1 V6 base Firebird with T-tops
It has 15" 20-slot wheels, and currently has 225/60R15 on the front and 225/65R15 on the back.
I have found good options for the 225/60R15 on the front. The 225/65R15 on the rear seem near impossible to find a replacement for. The current ones are Avon.
I want to get some decent tyres - has anyone found 225/65R15 tyres that are reasonable price/performance, or do I need to go down to 215? If so, do I have to match front and rear width, and is there a better solution?
I had a near identical car before with the 16" 20-slots and would rather have a set of those...
Thanks,
Alex

Very difficult size. Original size was 235/60/15 which are available http://www.camskill.co.uk/m53b0s5028p0/ ... _235_60R15
Have you thought about going back to stock sizes?
