2nd gen tyre size

Post by Mart893 » Sun Feb 04, 2018 9:02 am

What tyre size should my 1980 Firebird be on, at the moment I have 225/70-15 tyres on 15" snowflakes, is that the right aspect ratio cos it looks a little "tall"?

225/70r15 is the factory size so there’s nothing wrong with that. However they are hideously tall as you say...

Most feel that a 255/60/r15 is a much better choice on all four corners on the standard wheel. Assuming of course that the wheel is a 15x8j wheel (factory wheel)
