Spit and Polish wheel refurb

Post by Taffy » Mon Oct 28, 2013 4:27 pm

Had a quote from Spit and Polish in Kent today for refurbishing my snowflakes.

Tyres off, strip, repaint gold, diamond cut face and rim, refit tyres with new valves and balance, £322.

Good price? Or do I do them myself over the winter?

Paul.

Wheels have finally gone for refurb this week.

After looking at loads of different companies, I totally forgot about a guy I know called Harry who owns his own wheel refurb and window tinting business in Slough!

Here he is. http://www.the-autowerks.com/AboutUs.html

He does all sorts of wheels but specialises in high end marks such as Porsche, Lamborghini and Ferrari so that tells you his level of workmanship. When i went there yesterday he had in an Audi R8 and a Porsche Cayenne amongst others! So my wheesl are with him and if I can get him listed on here as an approved trader, he's more than happy to do special discounts for all POC members.

Hope to pick them up the weekend and will put up a new post of the wheels. He is also taking pictures for me of before, during and after.
