Why dont you give Robin a call? even if you decided you dont want to use him he may be able to advise you on what to look for. To be honest though, his prices for a carb rebuild are pretty good! You dont need to take the car to him you can just post it and it will come back nice and clean and working right.

have you thought about selling the Holley and getting a quadrajet?
