Help with gta electric seats into my 77 trans am
Hi all
I'm at the stage where carpet is ready to go in so all wires are in except for anything for the electric seats I have had from Dave Brayden, what wires do I need to feed them and there also seems to be a air line that needs to be fed also ??
Thanks all
Johnny

thee is a hose and a multi plug on mine coming out of the carpet
the seats had pneumatic side bolsters. not sure if pump is in the seat or remote
the seats are not GTA ones, you got them from James, David's brother. the are from a 4th gen trans am (93)

unless i know what the seat does and how it was operated i cant help you. You will obviosuly need at least one 12volt feed and ground. There appears to be 4 connections to make.

Ah thanks yes one seems to have more stuff on (compressor) than the other so looks like I need the electrical feed and a pipe going from one side to the other, so I need to find a pipe with the right connectors, eBay??
Thanks all

Re: Help with gta electric seats into my 77 trans am
it appears the 2 heavier wires are the power and earth feed for compressor in drivers seat, the 2 smaller wires are from the passenger seat switch (to operate compressor in drivers seat) and hose connects the 2 seats.
if you only want to make the drivers seat operate you can do without the pipe

Ah ok if I cannot get a way to connect the air pipes then will I have to block the pipe of that comes from the drivers to feed the passenger?
