Hi
I'm having an issue with my rear fog lamp. It's not working.
I have changed the bulb but I can't find the fuse to check?
I have a 91 3.1 v6 firebird.
Does anyone have any ideas please? Mot tomorrow

John was referring to the front fog lights in the spoiler. If they don't come on it will narrow down the problem

The small lights in the spoiler turn on with the main lights. These are the parking lights / side lights which turn on with the first setting on the switch?
Or is a light in the main headlamp supposed to come on with the side lights switch?
Sorry feel a but but dumb asking but I've never really looked at the front when the lights are on.

if you turn sidelights (first position on switch) on, then turn on fog lights the rear fog light comes on and usually 2 lights set into lower grill area I think
not certain with firebird though
when you turn fog light on, dose the switch warning light illuminate?

Yeah the switch Is illuminated. I noticed the rear fog lamp has been added and is not a standard fitment so first thing tomorrow I will trace the wire and put a circuit tester on it. Fingers crossed it's simple as the mot is at 2.

have you had a good look for another switch?
some people add one
be easier to connect the original one (which is on the wrong/left side) to the reverse light, and put a red bulb in the reverse bulb holder

Thanks for the help all. Turned out that the back of the lamp was very corroded and a good clean up of the connections did the trick.
And as for the MOT......passed with flying colours as always
