Where can I get one for my HO 1984 trans am?
Robin is away until the 15th and I need it sooner than this. any ideas please reply.

How much is really expensive???
Alternators usually cost around £80-140 depending on output current capacity

try your local auto electrical place they are pretty standard on alot of cars

Real Steel are usually cheapest for those,or as was already said,just take it to your local auto electrical place and have them rebuild it.

Price quoted was £208 and £123 reman w/o aircon
going to buy one from rockauto and get my one rebuilt as a spare:)
