Hi All
My front speaker isn't working - or at least there is a very low volume which you can just about hear when the engine isnt running - though the rear speaker/reverb is working fine...
I've checked the wiring ...there is a green wire leading from the speaker to the connector at the rear of the radio, as per the diagram in the owners manual. The speaker also has a brown wire which isn't connected to anything..i'm guessing this may be my problem (though i note brown wire isn't noted in the workshop manual as far as i can see..)
Is this the 'ground' wire? If so what part of the under dash should i connect it to? There is a lot of plastic down there and the wire is only a certain length..
Many thanks in advance
Kev

Re: '66 boneville front speaker wiring issue....
yes it will be the earth/ground
best thing is to extend the wire and attach to dash mounting
