There seems to be quite a buzz in the States regarding Venture Guard the the 3M clear protctive film. I was wondering if anybody's tried it as yet? Its claim to offers very good protection from stone chips and corrosion. Your thoughts guys :-/

Ive heard of it, but ive also heard it hinders those who like to polish their cars to a deep gloss, as the film covers the actual paintwork and so you cant buff it!

not sure how true that is though......

i use 'helicopter tape' on the fork legs on my bike...same stuff .it stops all the stone chips and always looks good.

dont think i'd want it all over the car though :-/
