Re: front number plates
technically yes....but mine hasnt been on show since i got it !!!!!!!
Re: front number plates
lot of rules/laws and exceptions
you can have smaller ones if a full size one wont fit
if it is not posible to fit one to the front you can theoreticly not have one (not liking the look of it is not the same thing)
it should be vertical or as near to vertical as possible (laying on the dash dose not meet this requirement)
not all police know all the rules so may give you a ticket and let you try to appeal
most seem to turn a blind eye to it but you never know
not a serious crime I believe, probably just a fine

Re: front number plates
I have an electric fold away one, so its up on the road and folded neatly away off road. Very easy to fit.

Re: front number plates
at least you made the effort as far as plod is concerned
they are more worried about cars that are not identifiable on cameras rather than exact compliance

Re: front number plates
I've seen a few that put it on the dashboard no idea how legit that is
Re: front number plates
In theory i cant fit one to kitt he wont let me, sorry officer its on the dash because it fell off and I dont have any sticky back plastic or cable ties to put it back on, just remember though when you go to a show, to take your "Knight" licence plate off the back before you leave, I did that by accident at a show in hull once, was rather funny when my friend said you do realise you still have your knight plate on, oops!

Re: front number plates
You could put it behind the sun visor, with the visor down it would be vertical?

That can be worse than no plate,if a copper stops you and notices it he can consider it to be attempting pervert the course of justice, not saying it would hold up in court though, its part B below that could cause problems.FirebirdPhil wrote:I have an electric fold away one, so its up on the road and folded neatly away off road.
