I've made up a bracket today so I can mount my rear plate under the bumper, so the knight plate can live in the factory mounting place. I'm trying to avoid having to remove bits for the mot. So do I have to remove the factory light? As I will then have a lit legal plate and a lit knight plate.

Is that a fail or a get pulled over? I'm leaning towards removing it and just haveing the legal plate lit, but thought i'd ask an expert first.

only test to see if required light is there and functioning
additional lights (as long as they dont show a white light to rear or red light to front) are not a problem or part of the test
