Help with fuel sender problem

Post by dnw3576 » Wed Mar 25, 2020 2:12 pm

Hi members, i have an 83 daytona 500 with a busted fuel sender, found a replacement on hawksmotorsport but at a joke price of $395plus shipping, got the 5l with crossfire injection, 3 wire 4 hose sender, i was thinking of adding an aftermarket fuel sender and try and use the orginal sender unit just for the fuel, i got a question about the circular device just above the pump, is it a condenser?, if so does anyone know what values it is supposed to be as i getting no readings from mine,do i need it ?, what is its function?, thanks for any information
