WTN Update

Post by cowboy1sf » Tue Mar 03, 2015 3:18 pm

After attending a meeting with Robin & Davy last week I have a few changes to announce regarding WTN.

The printing and editing of WTN will now be taken over by Mr Chris Randall. Chris is a long time customer of Robin’s; they had a chat and came up with a much lower price to produce the magazine. Chris has his own printing company and specialises in smaller print contract/runs. So it is solely a cost effective move nothing else.

There are still a few things to finalise, just waiting to get the go ahead from Robin as to when we go live & what format WTN will be produced in. Chris has been a member of the POC for many years and owns a 1979 Trans. Chris will have big boots to fill taking over from Tim, the man with the magnificent moustache. :chinese:

Tim has been taking care of WTN and many other jobs for the club for a few years now. His work has been second to none; the quality has been just amazing.
Tim also redesigned the club logos and the logos for our 25th anniversary limited addition merchandise, flags, Cakes. :thumb: Tim has always supported the club and helped us way beyond his duties as editor.

It is a very sad time having to say goodbye to Tim as editor of WTN. Tim will still be around on the forum and I hope to catch up with him soon {arranging a meet in spring} thank you Tim for all the hard work and effort that you have given to the POC, its members and committee.
